The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan “New Opportunities for Development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution” dated January 10, 2018 says: “The key priority of educational programs should be the development of the ability to continuously adapt to changes and assimilate new knowledge ... approaches to the training and qualification of teachers ". The Head of State also notes that pedagogical departments and faculties should be developed at universities in the country. To solve these problems, it is necessary to increase the professional knowledge of the teacher, to strengthen the requirements for the preparation of students of higher educational institutions in accordance with the demands of the time.
In this direction within the walls of the West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov under the leadership of the rector, Ph.D., associate professor N. Sergaliev N.Kh. A project to improve the qualifications of the faculty, developed by the International Laboratory of Pedagogical Innovation, is being implemented. From October 2018-2019 school year, faculty members of the university have been teaching at the secondary schools of the world of children in the framework of the updated educational content. The purpose of the courses is to update educational programs in academic disciplines and improve pedagogical skills in the implementation of the criteria-based assessment system.
A branch of the Center of pedagogical skills of Uralsk, the Department of Education of the WKO, the City Administration of Education of Uralsk and secondary schools of Uralsk are participating in the implementation of this project.
In October and November of the current academic year, 30 teachers completed teaching practice in secondary schools No. 1, 3, 9, 16, 21, 23, 30, 38, 43, 48, the regional boarding school complex No. 11 named after S.Seifullin, school-lyceum number 8 and schools gymnasium number 34, 42, 44.
